INTENT

The purpose of this online store is to make it easier for Club members and fans to purchase merchandise and membership renewals.

WHAT WE CAN SEE FROM INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU

All Store Managers are Club members in good standing and are unable to view any details about the credit card or any account used to purchase anything. This online store does collect information about users who sign up for access, such as your email address, but you do not have to set up an account to purchase anything.

Here is what Store Managers can see about you if you sign up for an account: your name (as entered by you), your email address, and how many completed orders you have placed.

Here is what Store Managers can see about a specific order you place after checking out: your name, your email address, your telephone number, method of payment (e.g., "credit card"), what you purchased, how much you paid, and how many you bought. If we print a receipt for you (on paper or in electronic format), we can also see your mailing address. Note that the Club generally already has all of the information about you in its membership database.

NO INFORMATION SHARED

RTHC will NEVER share your information with anyone else for any reason except for official Club business. We will not lend, rent or share any of your information with anyone outside the Club, nor will it be shared or provided to anyone not authorized to help manage this site or use your information to fulfill your order. For example, information about merchandise purchases will be provided to the Merchandise Chair so that person can provide you with that merchandise, and membership renewal information will be provided to the Membership Chair so that person can update the Club membership list to show that your dues have been paid for the renewal year.

WHY WE MAY CONTACT YOU

We reserve the right to contact those who sign up for this online store as needed to follow up and resolve issues or to ask questions about their experiences in order to improve this site. In the future, we may also send out reminders to renew memberships for those who have done that using this online store in the past.

STOREFRONT PLATFORM

We are using a free one-page storefront template provided by and hosted by ecwid.com. It does not have all of the features of more-expensive and advanced stores so we are limited in how we can adjust certain features. Should we find this platform does not serve the Club's needs, we reserve the right to upgrade to a paid version which does or to switch to another provider. If so, we will provide notice in writing to all Club members through our monthly newsletter and we will copy/update our Privacy Policy for that site as needed.

HOW TRANSACTIONS ARE PROCESSED

ecwid.com was one of two free storefront template available for us to use through squareup.com, the provider of our Square Reader service for credit card (swipe/chip) and tap payments. While there are many payment options available in this template, we have limited the payment options shown to those we can currently handle. Regardless, all payments made—regardless of method—are processed through ecwid and squareup (Square), and deposited into the Club's checking account after a few days' delay and deduction of transaction fees.

TRANSACTION FEES

Currently, RTHC incurs a transaction fee of 2.9% of the total plus 30 cents. It is RTHC's policy that Square transaction fees are not passed on directly in order to encourage/permit the use of electronic payment methods for the convenience of our members. Therefore, the price you pay through this online store will be identical to the price you would pay in person.
